Chamber Events to consider….

Talk to CDP about branding and marketing and learn new ways to grow your business! A great place to do your networking and exchange a few business cards is at events hosted by the Edison Chamber of Commerce. Probably the most effective way to meet new people in the community is to join a committee at the Chamber or volunteer to help with a project.

This is a critical time to prepare your strategic plan for optimizing your investment in the Edison Chamber of Commerce. There is still room on the 2012 operating committees and there are openings to work on all the committees or even to chair a committee.

In addition to all of the planned event committees, the strategic plan calls for key strategic committees:

1) Economic Development and Business Advocacy – resources will be made available to advocate 3 major business issues each year.

2) Marketing and Communications Committee – will utilize technology to expand the sources and depth of assistance to Chamber members, as well as to facilitate member to member networking.

3) Membership Development Committee – will support membership retention and development.

4) Member Services Committee – Specific events designed to measurably improve membership satisfaction and participation.
